Meet Chef April 

Chef April spent her formative years in the picturesque wine country of Napa, California, where she honed her culinary skills alongside her grandmother. She later moved to Houston, Texas, with her family, and spent the next twenty years immersed in the local culinary scene. Chef April attended the prestigious Culinary Institute Lenotre, earning a diploma in classical French cuisine. Following a brief internship at a country club, she broadened her horizons by traveling to Morocco, Europe, and Mexico, where she worked alongside local chefs.

Although her training is rooted in classical French techniques, Chef April specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, which encompasses North African and Middle Eastern dishes and her other areas of interest include Spanish, Italian, and Mexican flavors.

In 2021, she relocated to the Denver area and subsequently began her tenure at the Downtown Denver Sheraton, where she prepared exquisite dishes for their upscale cocktail lounge, Bezel, which was recognized as one of Denver's top restaurants in 2023. Since then, she has transitioned from the hotel environment to pursue her passion for creating beautiful and delicious meals in the comfort of people's homes.

I hired Chef April after I had surgery because my husband and I have some dietary restrictions and I wanted to be confident the person preparing our food knew how to cook proper vegan. The eggplant curry she made was fabulous and perfectly seasoned! I was so impressed that I asked her if she would mind sharing her recipie with me which she generously did. Highly recommend!

We hosted a small event at our church and hired Chef April to cater. She made a pozole that blew me away! It reminded me of the pozole I would buy from the street vendors in LA. I really appreciated her commitment to authenticity. I will definitely be hiring her again.

I wanted to treat my mom to Mother's Day dinner by having a private Chef come to her home and prepare a special meal for us. Chef April cooked a spectacular Osso Buco. It was incredible, and so tender! She even brought her own table settings and set up a lovely table for us. I love the attention to detail that went into every aspect of the meal and decor. My mother was so pleased. The whole experience really made her feel special!
